The SHAPE ReClaimed Story
SHAPE ReClaimed started with a simple desire to help one person feel better. We had no idea that it would grow into a national program helping hundreds of practitioners to build thriving businesses and enabling thousands of people to restore their health.
In 2010, Dr. Todd Frisch was a chiropractor specializing in restorative (functional) medicine, nutrition, homeopathy, kinesiology, acupuncture, iridology, traditional Chinese medicine and facial diagnosis. His passion was to help sick people get well, but it was his wife, Linda, who instigated the birth of SHAPE ReClaimed.
Linda suffered from a lifetime of hormonal issues and endured four female surgeries, ending in early-onset menopause at age 44. This brought on unwanted weight that just would not budge no matter what she tried. After three months of diligent, all-in effort counting calories, exercise and zero sugar, she dropped only one pound. All that hard work and commitment for one pound. More frustrated than ever, she went to Dr. Todd saying, “You help everybody, but you aren’t helping me.” To no surprise, many of his patients were struggling with the exact same issues.
Dr. Todd had studied and tried many diets over his previous 30 years in practice. He observed that most were built on incorrect dietary principles, caused his patients to feel deprived and ended with patients gaining all the weight back and then some. His conclusion was that all diets fail because they cause the body to send a message to the brain that it’s starving. But what if you could find a way to stop these messages by giving the body exactly what it needs? And what if you could find a way to discover what those needs are? Dr. Todd answered these questions, and SHAPE ReClaimed was born.
Dr. Todd and Linda tried the program themselves first and saw tremendous success. After using the program with his patients, it became obvious that the SHAPE Program addressed so much more than weight. Patients who needed to lose weight did, but it was the improvement in their overall health that was the most exciting. Patients experienced a decrease in inflammation, fewer joint problems, better digestion, normalized blood pressure, lower cholesterol and triglycerides, balanced blood sugar, cognitive improvements and more.
Dr. Todd continued to test and improve the SHAPE Program, and soon other wellness practitioners started hearing about the results. They started using it with their own patients/clients and saw similar results and growth in their businesses. SHAPE ReClaimed began as a weight loss program, but it quickly became a brand of products that restore health and a program that transforms lives. As we’ve watched symptoms and conditions diminish, we can’t help but wonder what potential ailments have been prevented. But, we can’t measure what we prevent!
Healthcare is not one-size-fits-all, which is why we emphasize a bio-individual approach and practitioner monitoring. By incorporating each patient’s/client’s health history and urinalysis results, you’ll be able to use SHAPE ReClaimed to meet your patients’/clients’ unique metabolic needs. This ensures lasting results, happy customers and a thriving business.

Dr. Todd Frisch
Dr. Todd Frisch is the founder of SHAPE ReClaimed and serves as Clinical Advisor. He is also the co-author of WTF? Why the Face: A Practical Guide to Understanding Health & Personality Through Facial Diagnosis. As a chiropractor for 37 years, he specialized in restorative medicine, nutrition, homeopathy, kinesiology, acupuncture, iridology, traditional Chinese medicine and facial diagnosis. His passion has always been to find the missing piece of the puzzle to help sick people get well.
Dr. Todd graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1980 and went on to obtain years of advanced education and training. He served as the president of the American Board of Chiropractic Acupuncture (ABCA) and the Council of Chiropractic Acupuncture (CCA). He was an educator and lecturer for the Missouri State Chiropractors Association (MSCA), Council on Diagnosis and Internal Disorders of the American Chiropractic Association, Inc. (CDID-ACA) and Heel, Inc.
After retiring from his private practice in 2017, Dr. Todd continues his effort to transform healthcare one patient at a time by teaching like-minded practitioners how to gather the diagnostic puzzle pieces that make up the unique health picture of their patients. When he’s not changing the world, he enjoys sitting by the lake, refinishing furniture, antiquing, doing crossword puzzles, playing cards, reading, studying, watching the Packers and Perry Mason, and being with family.
I was only 16 when I was forced to pay attention to what my body was telling me. Unlike my friends, my stomach revolted when I ate fast food and drank soda. That was the beginning of my journey to understanding the relationship between food and vibrant health. By age 25, my second son was born and within two months, I could not deny certain foods I ate had a negative impact on my little one through nursing. The problem escalated when my son was introduced to solid food and began suffering from skin, stomach and behavioral health challenges. As fate would have it, food became the central focus of my life’s work. What we eat matters!
I met Dr. Todd in 1984, and within months we realized we shared a passion to help others heal. For the next 33 years, I managed Dr. Todd’s private practice. What he studied, I studied. From basic nutrition to traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), acupuncture, and all things relating to functional medicine, I was by his side. Whatever he committed to professionally, I’ve been his right hand. We truly believe food is medicine. Together, Dr. Todd and I believe God has ordered our steps and has set a mission before us: transform healthcare one person time.
When I’m not working, I’m in my happy place when I can hike, bike and kayak. I love a rainy day at home, cooking and setting a beautiful dinner table for my family, friends and strangers. I love to read, piece together jigsaw puzzles with a fire crackling in the fireplace and watching movies with my sweetie. I love snow and lightning storms, fireworks and bubble baths. My all-time favorite activity is spending hours piddling in my gardens with a zillion flowers.
As the Chief Value Officer at SHAPE ReClaimed, my primary role is to collaborate with the SHAPE ReClaimed team to build a business that is highly valuable through strong human, structural, customer and social capital. I deeply believe in the vision of SHAPE ReClaimed and their mission to Transform Healthcare: One Patient at a Time.
Raised in Texas and a long-time resident of Colorado, my wife Andrea and I moved to St. Louis from Colorado in winter of 2014. We first met Dr. Todd and Linda as patients in Dr. Todd’s chiropractic practice and I experienced firsthand the positive effects of the SHAPE ReClaimed program and a holistic and all-encompassing approach to health.
As a business owner myself, I understand the importance of combining the concept, effort and process of value acceleration into a clear, simple strategy. In addition to owning a private wealth management practice in St. Louis, I hold my Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) designation to evaluate value acceleration and succession planning for business owners and C-level executive teams.
Outside of the office, I can be found spending time with my wife and our growing family, volunteering with philanthropic organizations and our church, and hunting, skiing or playing golf.
Abbie Frisch Belliston
As the youngest daughter of SHAPE ReClaimed’s founder, I have loved learning from my dad. My passion for nutrition really grew when he diagnosed me with insulin resistance and adrenal fatigue and then taught me how I could heal myself (which I did less than six months later!)
I began my career in the health and nutrition field in 2004 as a sales representative and educator for several companies, including three different health food stores. While I have a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University-Idaho, my best education was helping customers find solutions to their health problems. After finding great success with the SHAPE Program as a patient, I became a SHAPE practitioner. Today, I am working towards a PhD and serve at SHAPE Central, where I get to combine my passion for nutrition with my love of writing, marketing, design, business and leadership.
Every day, I get to go home to my musician husband and wildly brilliant son who fill me with joy and love.
(Abbie is also the coauthor of WTF? Why the Face: A Practical Guide to Understanding Health & Personality Through Facial Diagnosis.)
I am from DeSoto, MO, where I met Scott, the love of my life, when I was 12 years old. We married in June 2018. He has been 100% supportive of my love for and involvement with SHAPE ReClaimed, and he appreciates our mission to transform healthcare one patient at a time.
Getting involved with SHAPE was a God thing! I graduated from Missouri State University in May 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising and Promotions. A mutual acquaintance told Linda Frisch I was looking for employment in the St. Louis area, and the rest is history.
I have served the SHAPE community since July 2014. From handling daily tasks and assisting SHAPE practitioners to communicating with SHAPE Warriors and coordinating special events, my job is exceedingly rewarding. I am so thankful to be a part of this team and working toward something so much bigger than myself.
Dr. Beth Bartlett
I have been a SHAPE ReClaimed practitioner for five years. Early on, I was encouraged to embrace the SHAPE program and make it my own. As I applied the principles of the program, my practice in Northbrook, IL started to grow exponentially.
I graduated from the National College of Chiropractic in 2001, and I hold a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from DePauw University in Greencastle, IN. As a lifelong learner, I have decided to complete my functional medicine certification from the Institute for Functional Medicine.
As my studies have taught me, each patient has a story to tell, but so does their body. Listening to both is essential to arriving at a true understanding of the patients’ current condition and identifying all possible ways to attain total health transformation. I wholeheartedly believe in empowering patients for success, and I am thrilled to be a technical consultant for the SHAPE ReClaimed team.
After becoming very ill in 1998, I was awakened to the idea of restoring my health through nutrition and functional medicine. My daughter was two years old at the time, and I was informed that I would die if something didn’t change quickly. I was in and out of the hospital on a weekly basis. I was sick, tired, 97 pounds overweight, and honestly, I felt hopeless.
I became passionate about researching food, nutrition and wellness. With the help of functional medicine, I changed my diet and started to see positive results. It took several years to release 97 pounds and restore my health, but I finally was feeling and looking well again. Naturally, everyone wanted to know how I did it. This began my journey as a personal chef and coach with Vitality Consultants, LLC.
This is my opportunity to pay it forward and work hand in hand with functional medical professionals nationwide to support their treatment plans, support people who are facing inflammatory conditions, support our nation’s health naturally, and increase vitality.
As an excited new Southwest Missouri State graduate (1991) with an undergraduate degree in Communication Management, I was immediately hired as a Radio Account Executive (aka AE) – I basically “sold air,” which wasn’t easy. But with a lot of determination, I was thrilled to earn the top sales award my very first year. At that point, I decided to give this sales thing a go, and I never looked back. Quickly, I was managing teams and with every product I sold or team I managed, I could see that success came from more of a coaching strategy than a traditional sales model. So, I created a training system that focused on personal development and company culture.
With over 20 years of experience as a business/personal coach and numerous awards in sales, recruiting and business development, I fell in love with entrepreneurship and currently own and operate 8 natural health businesses. One of those is Thriveology, a natural wellness center in Sarasota, Florida. My husband Stacy and I decided to follow our passion of helping people feel good (mind and body), so we went back to school at 40 and earned our PhDs.
As a Naturopath, Stacy has been offering the SHAPE Program since 2013, changing the lives of thousands of people all over the country. We are both also proud authors of SELF ReClaimed, a Self-Empowerment toolkit.
My passion is to CONNECT like-minded people and SHAPE is the perfect link for all parties to be transformed, one connection at a time.
Although I have loved all my jobs, my proudest job has been raising my daughter, Brooke, who is an attorney and operates a real estate business with her husband, Zain, also in Sarasota, FL. When I’m not working (which is seldom, lol), I enjoy time with Stacy, feeling the sun on my body (at the beach), reading, walking and bike riding.
As the founder of The Institute for Functional Health Coaching, Advisory Board Member for AANWC (American Association of Natural Wellness Coaches) and the creator of the proven functional method of coaching Education, Preparation & Action©, I have learned a lot about the importance of making connections. I have coached hundreds of one-on-one clients and have provided group training, and numerous live/online talks; connecting wellness professionals with experts and the public with wellness professionals.
My number one focus in the health coaching profession has been to educate and inspire coaches to build a successful business with integrity and service. I am known as the tough love mentor, helping people overcome obstacles and barriers to success – in my Podcast The Successful Health Coach.
